Jenny Rankin is an accomplished Irish International Show Jumper, competing around the world up to the 5* level.

Growing up on a farm in Northern Ireland, Jenny’s deep connection with animals began at an early age, with horses quickly becoming her primary focus. Her journey in the sport started in the pony jumper divisions, where she made her debut at the Dublin Horse Show at just 10 years old.

After completing her school studies, Jenny joined the professional ranks - working with renowned trainers Richard and Deirdre Bourns. This experience paved the way for significant achievements, including competing at the 2016 Young Rider European Championships and earning multiple ribbons at the Dublin Horse Show's National Young Horse Championships.

A career highlight came when Jenny won the Royal Dublin Society Young Rider Bursary, allowing her to train with multi-championship medalist Jos Lansink in Belgium. In 2018, she graduated from the prestigious Rolex Young Riders Academy, an achievement that opened doors and fostered relationships with some of the sport’s leading figures, further fueling her drive to compete at the top level.

Jenny’s passion for the sport lies in working with talented horses, guiding them from their first competitions to the 5* level. She has already achieved Nations Cup victories in Drammen, Uggerhalne, and Lisbon - and remains focused on competing at major international championships in the future.
